Three persons drown in Krishna River in Vijayawada

Three young men lost their lives when they drowned in the Krishna River in Vijayawada on Saturday, according to the police. The victims were identified as T. Teja, 18, V. Gowtham, 17, and G. Joshua, 18, who ventured for swimming near Padmavathi ghat in the city. Locals informed the authorities that the young men unfortunately drowned during their swimming excursion.

Promptly, the police and expert swimmers retrieved the bodies and transferred them to the Government General Hospital in Vijayawada. Following the tragic incident, the police registered a case, and the investigation is currently underway.
