Star Wars Disney+ Series Ahsoka Season 2 Finally Has a Release Date

Ahsoka Season 2 will debut on Disney+ on January 20, 2027, according to recent confirmation from Disney's D23 fan event. The release date was revealed through a photo of Ahsoka star Rosario Dawson holding a poster featuring the date, reported by IGN. Season 2 picks up three-and-a-half years after Season 1 concluded in August 2023.

Rosario Dawson reprises her role as Ahsoka, with the series continuing the story of the Jedi and her friends as they battle Grand Admiral Thrawn and explore a mysterious neighboring galaxy. The threat of Thrawn was originally intended for The Mandalorian Season 4, which led to speculation about whether Lucasfilm moved more of that storyline to Ahsoka.

Season 2 also features the return of Hayden Christensen as Anakin Skywalker, along with the addition of Baylan Skoll, played by Game of Thrones actor Rory McCann. Other returning cast members include Natasha Liu Bordizzo, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Ivanna Sakhno, Eman Esfandi, and Lars Mikkelsen.
