SDAIA: Ebram digital platform cuts government transactions to 10 seconds

The Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA) has revealed that the Ebram digital signature platform has significantly improved the efficiency of government transactions in Saudi Arabia. By implementing the platform's digital stamping and signature services, government processes have been accelerated, reducing transaction completion time to just 10 seconds.

This technological advancement has led to substantial savings for government entities and beneficiaries, with over 70 million riyals (SAR) saved due to the platform's utilization.

SDAIA reported that the switch to digital signatures has resulted in the avoidance of over 16 million printed paper transactions, thereby reducing the Kingdom's reliance on traditional paper-based procedures. Additionally, government agencies have achieved financial savings exceeding 70 million riyals by leveraging Ebram's digital services. These savings have not only streamlined government operations but also contributed to a more sustainable and environmentally friendly approach to governance.

Moreover, the Ebram platform has played a crucial role in promoting a faster and more efficient digital government environment. By eliminating the need for travel to complete transactions, the platform has saved more than 800,000 vehicle trips per month. As a result, government offices are experiencing reduced congestion, improved accessibility, and enhanced overall service delivery.
