Princess Iman of Jordan welcomes twin daughters

Princess Iman of Jordan and her husband, Jameel Alexander Thermiotis, have welcomed twin daughters, Talia and Rania, marking a double celebration for the Jordanian royal family. The newborns were born on August 14 and have been named in honor of Iman's mother, Queen Rania. In a joint statement, Princess Iman and Thermiotis expressed their gratitude, saying, "Praise be to Allah, the bestower of the most beautiful gifts."

They asked Allah to bless and protect their precious daughters, wishing them light, blessings, and happiness.

The Royal Hashemite Court announced the birth of the twin daughters in a statement, congratulating the couple and King Abdullah II and Queen Rania. The twins join Princess Iman's older sister, Amina, making the couple parents to three daughters. Queen Rania becomes the grandmother to four granddaughters, as Talia and Rania are King Abdullah II and Queen Rania's third and fourth grandchildren. The royal couple became grandparents to four granddaughters in August 2024 when their daughter, Princess Iman, was born.

Queen Rania had announced her pregnancy just over a month before the twins were born. She shared a family photograph with Princess Iman, Jameel, and their older daughter, Amina, on social media, expressing her happiness for the growing royal family. Crown Prince Hussein also congratulated his sister on the arrival of the twins, praising the complete grace and great favor bestowed upon the family.
