Polling concludes at 23 polling stations in 2 constituencies of AJK's Bagh district

Polling concluded at 23 stations in Bagh district of AJK, as it began at 8am on Saturday. The election commission reported negligible turnout in both constituencies. In the third phase, PPP's Ziaul Qamar received 16,637 votes in LA-15, PML-N's Mushtaq Ahmed Minhas got 15,015 votes, and Jamaat-i-Islami's Brig Dr Muhammad Khan secured 12,259 votes.

However, results from LA-16 (Eastern Bagh) were withheld as polling was not held at 14 polling stations, which have a total of 7,238 registered voters. The remaining polling stations showed PML-N's Sardar Mir Akbar leading by 3,225 votes over PPP's Sardar Qamaruz Zaman. Both constituencies had candidates accusing each other of massive rigging.

AJK Prime Minister Faisal Mumtaz Rathore was notified as the returned candidate from LA-17. The election in LA-17 faced controversy after the returning officer declared Rathore the winner despite his PML-N rival challenging the result. Rathore's opponent Engr Mohsin Aziz also challenged the election, and the Chief Election Commissioner reserved his decision after hearing arguments from both sides.

The PML-N won 24 seats, while the PPP won only 10 constituencies in these phases. The third phase was held only in Bagh and Haveli due to concerns over the law and order situation.
