Osun Decides: Resident alleges vote recording error during election

In Osun State, a resident named David Adesina has accused an error in the recording of election results during the recent governorship election. A video shared on social media showed Adesina explaining that the Accord Party garnered 212 votes, while the All Progressives Congress (APC) received 107 votes. Adesina alleged that a National Youth Service Corps member, who was involved in the documentation, incorrectly recorded the Accord Party's votes as "012" instead of the correct "212."

Upon noticing the mistake, Adesina and the people present at the polling station immediately pointed out the discrepancy. Adesina stated that the error was corrected and endorsed, with the correct figure of "212" being documented. He appealed for public awareness of the incident to discourage any attempts to alter the results in the future. The resident urged everyone to spread the word to ensure the integrity of the election process.
