Nvidia has $21 billion SpaceX stake, $30 billion in Intel shares

On Friday, Nvidia Corporation revealed its substantial investments in two major companies: SpaceX and Intel Corporation. The AI chipmaker disclosed that it owned approximately 122.8 million shares in SpaceX, amounting to a value of nearly $21 billion as of June 30, according to a recent regulatory filing. This represents a significant investment, with Nvidia having previously put up to $2 billion into SpaceX's artificial intelligence subsidiary, xAI, in 2025.

The value of Nvidia's position in Intel has surged dramatically, reaching $30 billion, up from around $9.5 billion three months prior. This investment was made in 2024 when Nvidia agreed to collaborate with Intel for the development of chips for personal computers and data centers, a move that seemed unexpected and aimed at supporting an ailing rival.

Apart from SpaceX and Intel, Nvidia also held stakes in several other companies, including Coherent Corp., Generate Biomedicines Inc., Nebius Group NV, Nokia Corp., and Synopsys Inc., as of the same date.
