New NPP Western Regional Chairman pledges unity as party begins rebuilding

Following their swearing-in, the newly elected Savannah regional executives of the New Patriotic Party have pledged their commitment to uniting the party in order to secure victory in the 2028 general elections. Savannah Regional Chairman, Alhaji Iddrisu Sulemana, spoke to journalists and emphasized the importance of collaboration among the newly appointed leaders.

He assured that their primary focus would be to rebuild the party in preparation for the upcoming election. Sulemana highlighted that the election represented a collective win for all members, as they only required dedicated leaders to effectively manage the party's affairs. He urged all candidates to remain committed to their promise of working together for the party's success.

Sulemana himself had emerged victorious in the election, receiving 92 votes against Ing. Clifford Braimah, who had secured 88 votes. For the position of Regional Secretary, Seidu Ayuba, a first-time candidate, secured 91 votes, narrowly edging out incumbent Mohammed Issah, who had received 89 votes. Additionally, Adam Mohammed Mansuru won the Youth Organizer position with 97 votes, while Yakubu Yussif received 83 votes.
