Make India, Andhra number one by 2047, says CM Naidu

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu urged citizens to strive for India and the state to become the top nations by 2047, during his Independence Day address in Amaravati on Saturday. The CM, marking the 80th anniversary of India's freedom, called for efforts to make the country and Andhra Pradesh number one in the next 20 years.

Naidu emphasized that a strong state is essential for Viksit Bharat, and a strong country is necessary for SwarnaAndhra. He highlighted that decentralized development is the government's policy, and they are working towards developing all regions and empowering all sections. Naidu praised the Centre's support for the state in various projects like Polavaram, Vizag Steel Plant, and Visakhapatnam Railway Zone.

The TDP chief pointed out that the state's growth rate has increased to 11.3 percent under his administration, contrasting it with the previous YSRCP government's debt of nearly ₹10 lakh crore. He also mentioned that the coalition government has invested ₹1.56 lakh crore in welfare and ₹1.34 lakh crore in development in 26 months.

Naidu announced that a job calendar with over 10,000 jobs was released this year, and deals worth ₹24 lakh crore will create 11 lakh jobs, with ₹14 lakh crore investments already secured. He set a goal to build houses for all by 2029, with housing documents issued to eligible residents on government lands. Naidu concluded by urging everyone to reflect on how they can contribute to the nation's progress and honor the sacrifices of those who fought for independence.
