Hundreds of eager customers lined up, with some outlets reporting unusually long queues. Many customers arrived as early as 7:00 am on Saturday, August 15, to secure the deal, causing overcrowding and tensions. In some cases, security personnel at KFC branches resorted to using canes to control the crowds and maintain order amidst the heightened excitement.

Videos shared on social media depicted the chaotic scenes, with crowds stretching across parts of KFC premises. The promotion is part of KFC Ghana’s activities to commemorate 15 years of operations in the country, offering special deals to its customers.
