Kia to Reportedly Launch New Picanto in Pakistan

Kia may soon introduce a new version of its popular Picanto hatchback to the Pakistani market, according to reports. Lucky Motor Corporation is set to bring the latest generation of the compact car to Pakistan within the next month, although the company has not officially confirmed the launch date or provided further details. The current Picanto, a 1,000cc hatchback, was discontinued after six years in Pakistan and was removed from Kia Pakistan’s website, with the company permanently closing new bookings for the model.

Kia initially launched the Picanto in September 2019, but the recent discontinuation of the current model does not signal the end of the nameplate in Pakistan. Lucky Motor is preparing to launch the new Picanto, keeping the nameplate alive in the market.
