Guber Polls: Osun people speaking with one voice – Gov Adeleke

Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State emphasized that the people of the state are united in their support during the current governorship election. In a recent post on his verified X account, Adeleke highlighted the importance of safety and protection for the citizens. Speaking immediately after the voting process began and the start of result announcements at the polling unit level, the governor praised the security personnel deployed for the election.

He implored them to maintain vigilance throughout the final phase of the electoral process. As the candidate of Accord Party, Adeleke also implored the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to maintain the highest standards of integrity throughout the election process.

Despite challenging circumstances, Adeleke noted that the people of Osun State have shown up in large numbers and are rallying behind a common voice. He expressed confidence in the professionalism of all institutions involved, complimenting the federal government's provision of adequate security. In his tweet, Adeleke stressed the significance of democracy, urging every Osun citizen to remain peaceful, law-abiding, and committed to the democratic process. He concluded by stating that the will of the people should prevail.
