Get to know the Kentucky football roster: No. 21 Nasir Addison

As the Kentucky football season approaches, the team continues to introduce players to fans. Today, we introduce No. 21, Nasir Addison. Standing at 6 feet tall and weighing 204 pounds, Addison is a cornerback from Irvington, New Jersey. He was rated as a three-star recruit by 247Sports and was the top player in the 2023 class according to their composite rankings. Despite offers from several top programs, including Ole Miss and Florida State, the University of Kentucky ultimately secured his commitment.

Addison made an immediate impact as a freshman, participating in eight games and contributing with key plays. His performance continued to shine in 2024, where he played in every game before missing only four games the following season. In 2026, he was even tempted to enter the transfer portal, but ultimately decided to stay with Kentucky, where he can become a vital part of the secondary.

Addison is in line to compete for one of the boundary cornerback positions and will be in the rotation even if he doesn't start. Coach Stein was pleased to bring Addison back to Kentucky, as he has the talent to be a starter and play a significant role in the team's defense. With the right performance, Addison is expected to see considerable time on the field.
