Disney to Host First D23 Asia in Singapore in June 2027

The Walt Disney Company is set to host its inaugural D23 Asia event in Singapore from June 25 to 27, 2027, marking the first time the fan gathering will take place in the Asia Pacific region. The three-day convention, themed "D23 Asia: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event," aims to unite Disney enthusiasts, Hollywood talent, and creators from the region and beyond for exclusive previews, announcements, and immersive experiences.

The event will be held at the Sands Expo & Convention Centre at Marina Bay Sands, with ticket sales beginning in November 2026. Disney executives view the expansion as a pivotal step in engaging with the company's rapidly growing fan base in the Asia Pacific. Asad Ayaz, Chief Marketing and Brand Officer, emphasized the company's commitment to meeting fans where they are, while Carol Choi, Executive Vice President of Integrated Marketing & APAC Original Strategy, highlighted the unique experience the event will offer, including previews of APAC Originals and interactions with creative talent.

This Singapore gathering builds upon the global expansion of D23, which began in 2009 in Anaheim, California. The company recently hosted its first Latin American edition, D23 Brazil. While the Singapore event will maintain the scale and fan-first focus of traditional D23 conventions, organizers note that the programming will be tailored specifically for Asian audiences.
