Big night from Oliveira gets Winnipeg Blue Bombers back in win column over winless Redblacks

Brady Oliveira delivered a standout performance for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in their 33-21 victory over the Ottawa Redblacks, kicking off the team's winning streak at 5-4. Coming into the game as a game-time decision due to an ankle injury, Oliveira put his team on his back with 154 total yards, including 74 rushing yards and 80 receiving yards.

The Blue Bombers capitalized on Oliveira's plays in the second quarter, scoring 20 points, including rushing touchdowns from Oliveira and third-string quarterback Bryce Perkins. Sergio Castillo added 56 yards on a field goal, sealing the win for Winnipeg. Quarterback Zach Collaros returned to the lineup for the first time in a month, throwing for 222 yards, though he was sacked four times and had to leave the game briefly after taking a hit.

Winnipeg's improved rushing defense held the Redblacks to just 27 yards, but allowed the team to throw for 314 yards. The Blue Bombers head to Edmonton next week for their next game.
