Adun tunggal KDM utamakan kestabilan kerajaan Sabah, kata Armizan

Rusdin Riman, the Deputy Chief Minister of Sabah, has expressed his party's commitment to maintaining political stability in the state despite the Democratic Progress Party (KDM) withdrawing its support from the GRS administration. Armizan Mohd Ali, the Secretary-General of GRS, clarified that his organization's dedication lies in serving the community and ensuring the stability of the state government to continue development agendas for the people.

In a statement, Armizan emphasized, "His commitment is service to the community he represents and the stability of the state government to continue development agendas for the people."

Following a meeting between Armizan and Rusdin, the KDM-affiliated Adun Rusdin Riman attended a gathering at the Kota Kinabalu Golf Club, coinciding with the announcement. Armizan also stated that KDM is not a component party of GRS, but rather supports the leadership of Chief Minister Hajiji Noor through Rusdin in the post-PRN Sabah era.

This decision solidifies KDM's role within the Sabah government, according to Armizan. Earlier, Priscilla, the KDM president, announced the withdrawal of support for the GRS administration, explaining that the move was crucial to demonstrate the party's direction ahead of the 2016 general election. The decision was made as the party reportedly discussed potential cooperation with Heritage and Sabah Solidarity Party (STAR) during the upcoming PRU16.
