Los Angeles indie band wilt, known for their social media buzz presence, are set to debut their long-awaited full-length album on October 2nd through AWAL. To tease the upcoming record, the group has shared a new single titled "dent" along with its music video directed by Ambar Navarro. Formed from a collective creative effort, wilt wrote and recorded their debut album as a band, marking a shift from their previous instrumental-first approach.

The album's title, "when no one's watching," echoes the internal struggles the band members, particularly lead singer Chelsea Rifkin, confront alone despite their growing success. The track "dent" serves as the band's sonic thesis statement, capturing the tension between their external achievements and internal emotional turbulence.

For guitarist Andy Vance, the album reflects the duality of their career growth and inner turmoil, as he notes, "For all of us, and especially Chelsea, it's what it feels like when no one's watching and you're still struggling mentally and emotionally with everything."

The accompanying music video captures the essence of the song, filmed in a sweltering shipping container, and sees Rifkin yearning to "run away" from her own emotions. The band is currently on tour with Jutes and Mothika, and fans can grab tickets for their performances.
