Warriors miss out on multi-time All-Star, but they shouldn’t be upset

The Golden State Warriors have missed out on signing multi-time All-Star Bradley Beal, but they should not feel too disappointed. The Warriors have made questionable choices in recent years, and their current roster does not seem promising on paper, making it understandable why they might take a risk on a player like Beal. Beal has demonstrated the ability to be an above-average player at times, but other times, it is clear that he is far from his former self.

The Warriors simply cannot be too selective, which leads to the understandable desire to pursue Beal. Beal eventually signed with the Los Angeles Clippers after opting out of his contract and returning to free agency. It remains to be seen what form Beal will take on in the future, as he averaged just 8.2 points on 38% shooting from the field in six games last season following hip surgery.

The primary concern for the Warriors is the type of player they would have acquired, and it is likely that they did not want to take that risk.
