Veep commissions five envoys for diplomatic missions

Vice President Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang has recently appointed five new High Commissioners and Ambassadors Designate to serve as Ghana's diplomatic representatives in Sierra Leone, Norway, Kuwait, Nigeria, and Niger. During the swearing-in ceremony, she emphasized the importance of advancing Ghana's diplomatic, economic, and national interests abroad.

The new envoys were tasked with strengthening Ghana's connections with citizens overseas and deepening international partnerships. Vice President Opoku-Agyemang pledged the government's support to the envoys and reminded them of the performance standards and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) set by President John Dramani Mahama.

She urged them to conduct their duties with professionalism, integrity, and a clear sense of purpose, stating that they hold the critical responsibility of creating opportunities for the Ghanaian people and advancing Ghana's interests on the global stage.
