'UP T20 Provides Major Platform To Young Cricketers Of The State, Happy To See 6 Teams': CM Yogi Adityanath

Lucknow: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed his joy over the UP T20 League, stating that it offers young cricketers from across Uttar Pradesh a chance to display their skills. In a populous state like Uttar Pradesh with a population of 25 crore, providing ample opportunities for cricketing talent is crucial for progress. The CM recalled his previous discussions with BCCI Vice-President Rajeev Shukla about increasing cricket opportunities in the state during international matches.

Six teams from the state - Kashi Rudras, Meerut, Lucknow, Gorakhpur, Kanpur, and Noida - are participating in the special season of UP T20. The inaugural match saw Kashi Rudras face Meerut. The teams represent players from eastern to western Uttar Pradesh, giving them a competitive environment to showcase their abilities. These events also benefit coaches, mentors, support staff, and stadium personnel.

By nurturing young talent, better training and guidance will help develop the state's cricketing base, potentially leading to more national and international players in the future. UP T20 is not just a cricket competition; it's a platform to fulfill the dreams of the state's youth.
