Togbe Afrika, Enam and Jah Phinga set to light up Dzodze-Penyi at homecoming concert

Veteran Ghanaian hiplife artiste Togbe Afrika is set to return to the music scene with a homecoming concert in Dzodze-Penyi on August 29, 2026. The event, "Togbe Afrika Homecoming," will take place at Infinity Stars Hotel in Penyi and feature Ghanaian female artiste Enam and rapper Jah Phinga, along with other local talents. Togbe Afrika, who began his music career in 1997, is returning to the stage after a two-decade hiatus.

He is known for hits like "Danye Sidzima" and gospel songs such as "Menyabe Awoenam." The concert aims to reconnect with his community, reconnect with traditional leaders, and introduce a broader program focused on music, education, entrepreneurship, and international opportunities for young people. Togbe Afrika, serving as Honorary Consul of Indonesia to Ghana, plans to use the platform to encourage youth empowerment, discourage drug abuse, alcoholism, and support emerging musicians through ROIS Music Productions.

The event, which will attract about 4,000 patrons, is backed by ROIS Travels and ROIS TV. Togbe Afrika sees the homecoming as the first in a series of initiatives across the Volta Region before launching a Togbe Afrika University Campus Tour in November, which will combine music, education, tourism, entrepreneurship, and global opportunities.
