Tame Impala’s ‘Loser’ Lands on ARIA Chart Following ‘Spider-Man’ Sync

Tame Impala's lead singer, Kevin Parker, sees his band re-enter the ARIA Singles Chart at No. 11 with "Loser" from their album Deadbeat. The song's popularity soared after its appearance in the superhero film Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Meanwhile, Deadbeat's "Dracula" dropped in the chart's ranks. On the new releases chart, Oh Yeah? by Steve Lacy climbed 34-17 spots, and its title track debuted at No. 25.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day broke the record for the fastest film to reach $700 million at the U.S. box office, surpassing the previous record holder, Spider-Man: No Way Home. Ella Langley's "Choosin' Texas" held onto the top spot on the ARIA Singles Chart for its 10th week. Meanwhile, newcomer Stella Lefty's "Boston" made its first appearance within the top 10.

The ARIA Albums Chart saw Olivia Rodrigo's "You Seem Pretty Sad For A Girl So In Love" reclaim the top position for a fifth consecutive week. Stray Kids' EP "This & That" debuted at No. 3 on the albums chart. Other notable entries include Role Model's career-best appearance at No. 4 and Casey Barnes' first top-10 country hit at No. 6.

German electronic-rock band Electric Callboy, Melbourne duo Bachelor Girl, Cold Chisel songwriter Don Walker, and indie singer Rowena Wise also made their chart debuts.
