Nationalist Party representative Jeong Dong-hyuk will attend a protest gathering on Liberation Day at Seoul's Songpa District's Olympic Park. This event is expected to bring together over 3,000 Nationalist Party members. The Nation List Party announced their participation in the civic movement scheduled for 6 PM on the 15th at the Olympic Park.

The party's secretary-general, Hye-young Park, will also attend the event. It is anticipated that Nationalist Party outside members will also join the gathering. Previously, around 110 outside members had participated in a chat room where a call-to-action was posted, stating, "Let's unite with the party representatives and attend the meeting to fight for the immediate investigation of the investigation and the suspension of premature elections."

Some of these members also shared how many fellow party members they planned to bring along. Reports suggest that after recent meals with outside members, the party leadership encouraged their involvement in the Olympic Park gathering, estimating attendance to exceed 3,000. However, the party's leadership clarified that it was not a "mandatory attendance" but an invitation for the outside members to participate independently.

Party spokesperson Park stated, "I am unaware of any separate notification sent to the outside members." He expressed regret over the coverage suggesting that outside members were being "lined up" by the party leaders. Regarding the possibility of the re-election of outside members in late May, when their term is set to end, Park commented, "As the organizational strengthening special committee has not yet determined its direction, and the outside members had already expressed their intention to participate, this issue is not yet resolved."

Jeong Dong-hyuk also encouraged people to attend the Liberation Day gathering in his message the day before, visiting the Olympic Park with a megaphone and asking those who took photos together to join him.
