KUALA LUMPUR: Naz Rahman and Sissy Iman, the hosts of the upcoming 40th Anugerah Juara Lagu (AJL), are returning to their roles with heightened expectations and greater pressure to deliver a stellar performance. Both hosts, who are seasoned professionals, understand that maintaining top-tier performance is far more challenging than achieving success for the first time.

Naz Rahman, 48, emphasized that staying at the top is much harder than reaching it. Sissy Iman, 31, acknowledged that she felt more confident in her capabilities after witnessing Naz's stellar performance during AJL 39. Both hosts are focused on elevating the standard further, with Naz stressing the importance of physical stamina for a three-hour live broadcast.

Naz Rahman also highlighted the need for broad knowledge to handle any unexpected turn of events on stage, recounting a tense moment during the prize presentation at AJL 39 when they had to improvise live on air.
