Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh - The police headquarters in Madhya Pradesh has initiated a review of the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) to determine promotions from sub-inspectors to inspectors. A total of 27,534 police officers and personnel across 58 cadres have been promoted, including 12,928 constables promoted to head constables and 5,171 head constables promoted to assistant sub-inspectors.
The police administration has reviewed the records of approximately 2,100 acting inspectors and sub-inspectors for promotion to inspectors, of which 1,029 were ultimately promoted.
