Nasir hands over 35 modern fire tenders to Rescue 1122

Karachi hosted a ceremony to present 35 contemporary fire tenders to Rescue 1122, with Sindh Minister for Local Government Nasir Hussain Shah and Sindh Adviser Gianchand Esrani in attendance. The fire tenders were purchased by the Local Government Department Sindh and will be distributed to municipal corporations and union committees across Sindh's districts to enhance prompt and efficient responses to fire emergencies and other crises.

Minister Hussain Shah highlighted the importance of modern fire tenders in bolstering rescue and fire emergency services. He further mentioned that these modern fire tenders would be provided in stages across different districts and union committees, thus significantly boosting the capacity to tackle fire emergencies in urban locales.

Minister Hussain Shah expressed Sindh government's commitment towards ensuring citizens receive immediate and effective rescue services during emergencies. He added that additional modern fire tenders would also arrive and be distributed according to the districts' needs and priorities. He emphasized that the provision of fire tenders would improve the response time of fire emergency services at local levels and facilitate better arrangements for preserving lives and properties of citizens at district and union committee levels.

Adviser to the Chief Minister Sindh, Gianchand Esrani, echoed the sentiment, stressing the significance of the initiative in ensuring timely action and enhancing rescue and fire fighting capabilities of the service. He stated that the focus of the government was on ensuring immediate response to accidents, fire incidents and other emergencies.

The protection of citizens' lives and property were prioritized, with rescue services being fortified with modern machinery and requisite resources. The presence of relevant officers and officials of Rescue 1122 added to the significance of the ceremony.
