Nashik: Three Days Left For SIR Process; Collector Urges Voters To Submit Forms

Nashik district is in the final stretch of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) voter registration process, which will conclude in three days. District Collector Ayush Prasad has been urging voters to submit their forms through the Booth Level Officers (BLOs). At a meeting chaired by the collector, progress was reviewed across the district's 15 Assembly constituencies.

Notably, work has been completed 100% in Niphad, Dindori, and Igatpuri constituencies, while Nashik West Assembly constituency, with the highest voter population, is at 73% completion. The electoral roll information is accessible on the District Collector's office portal and other official platforms. Political parties were encouraged to download the list, verify details, and report any objections to officials.

The revised schedule includes door-to-door visits from June 30 to August 17, reorganization/rationalization of polling stations until August 17, publication of the draft electoral roll on August 24, filing of claims and objections from August 24 to September 23, disposal of claims and objections from August 24 to October 22, and publication of the final electoral roll on October 27.
