Make fewer controversial statements, PKR leader tells DAP

PKR leader Fadzli Roslan has urged DAP leaders to refrain from making controversial statements, in an attempt to prevent disruptions to the government's operations. At the PKR Youth national congress, Roslan called for DAP to "take pity" on PKR's hardworking leaders in government and urged the party's leaders to be "better friends" to PKR.

He also rejected accusations that PKR is "DAP's servant," stating that PKR is not afraid to criticize its political allies. Roslan emphasized that PKR's allies should respect its efforts in government and not disrupt the party's economic development agenda. Moreover, he called for PKR leaders at all levels to avoid excessive focus on appeasing political allies at the expense of the party's own interests.

Roslan's remarks appeared to be directed at Bersama, a new party founded by former PKR leaders Rafizi Ramli and Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad, urging those who have set up a new party to stop interfering in PKR's internal affairs. He also suggested that attacks on PKR by former members should not go unanswered, asking why they should remain silent when the party's president and other leaders are constantly under attack.
