LG Innotek's Apple revenue believed to reach record high in H1

LG Innotek, a subsidiary of the LG Group, reported that revenue from Apple Inc. reached a record high during the first half of the year, according to the company's first-half report. The optical and package businesses, which together account for over 10 percent of LG Innotek's total sales, generated 8.84 trillion won (approximately $6.24 billion) in revenue for the January-June period.

This figure marks the highest sales to a single customer during the first six months of a year, as confirmed by the company. While LG Innotek has not officially disclosed the identity of the customer, industry experts believe that the substantial sales and the nature of its business dealings point to Apple. The company supplies crucial components such as camera modules and substrates for Apple's iPhones.
