K-pop group Babymonster will be in Singapore in August for Adidas Orchard Ignition event

Adidas Orchard Ignition will take place in Singapore from August 29 to 30, featuring a Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 team garage pop-up and a live race car demonstration. The event will also showcase performances by K-pop girl group Babymonster. Monstiez, as they are known locally, will participate in a live race car demo starting at 3pm on August 30, with Danish racer Fred Vesti driving the vehicle.

They will perform an official flag-off and a hot lap in a Mercedes-AMG car featuring Singapore-exclusive livery. This event, a collaboration between Adidas and the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula 1 team, will also include a fan festival at Design Orchard from 4pm to 10pm, with Babymonster making an appearance at 6pm. Ticketed winners can attend the Babymonster segment, while the rest of the performances are free and open to the public.

Fans have until August 25 to participate in promotions for a chance to win a pair of tickets to the fan festival. Adidas Southeast Asia's senior vice president and general manager, Thibault Durand, expressed excitement about bringing this unique collaboration to the heart of Singapore, highlighting the city's status as an iconic destination on the Formula 1 calendar.
