Julius Berger, Lagos deepen collaboration on infrastructure

Julius Berger Nigeria Plc and the Lagos State Water Corporation (LSWC) have bolstered their partnership in the development of integrated water and road infrastructure across the state. During a courtesy visit to Julius Berger’s Regional Office in Ijora, Lagos, the management of the LSWC underscored the significance of fostering strong ties between neighboring institutions.

Julius Berger’s Regional Commercial Manager, Alexander Bauer, stressed that enhanced cooperation between the two organizations could generate opportunities for technical support and collaboration on infrastructure projects. Bauer emphasized the firm's commitment to supporting sustainable infrastructure development and its openness to engaging with stakeholders like the LSWC when technical assistance or collaboration is needed.

He highlighted that Lagos State and the Federal Ministry of Works are among Julius Berger's principal clients in the construction sector, making effective coordination with key public entities crucial for successful project completion. LSWC Managing Director, Engr. Mukhtaar Temitope Tijani, described the visit as a relationship-building effort aimed at establishing stronger connections between the two organizations.

He noted that despite operating in the same environment for years, limited interaction had occurred, and this visit aimed to change that by creating a platform for more substantial collaboration in the future. Tijani emphasized that the visit stemmed from ongoing water sector activities and the necessity of forging a closer working relationship between Julius Berger and the LSWC.
