India's wholesale inflation eased to 9.78% in July from June's 9.87%. Fuel and power basket inflation decreased significantly to 20.05% in July. Primary articles saw inflation rise to 8.52% and manufactured products to 8.29%. The WPI food index recorded inflation of 6.65% in July. This data follows retail inflation's rise to 4.45% in July.
