Google now lets you remove the watermark from Gemini’s creations

Google has unveiled Gemini 3.7 Flash, its latest AI model designed specifically for coding and AI agents. Launched on Thursday, August 13, the model is claimed to be more intelligent and efficient than its predecessor, Gemini 3.6 Flash. Gemini 3.7 Flash is part of Google's Flash family of AI models and is targeted primarily at handling complex software engineering tasks, enterprise workflows, and web development.

The model demonstrates significant improvements in understanding instructions, planning multiple steps, using tools, and adapting to problems. On software-engineering benchmarks, it scored 43.6 per cent on FrontierCode 1.1 Main and 65.3 per cent on DeepSWE v1.1, compared to 34.4 per cent and 49 per cent, respectively, for the previous version.

In web development, Gemini 3.7 Flash generated more functional layouts and feature-complete applications with fewer prompts, and achieved an Elo score of 1,588 on the WebDev Arena benchmark, an improvement from 1,538 for Gemini 3.6 Flash.

Beyond coding, Gemini 3.7 Flash outperforms in finance, law, and biosciences. It scored 34 per cent on the GDP.pdf benchmark, up from 22 per cent for Gemini 3.6 Flash, and 30.4 per cent on AutomationBench, compared to 17 per cent for its predecessor. The new model is particularly useful for coding agents, enterprise automation, and applications requiring multi-step planning and tool calls.

Priced at $0.75 per million input tokens and $3.75 per million output tokens until December 31, 2026, Gemini 3.7 Flash is half the cost of its predecessor. It is accessible through Google's Gemini API, Google AI Studio, Android Studio, and Google Antigravity. Enterprises can utilize it through Google's enterprise AI platforms, while individual users can access it through Gemini Spark with eligible Google AI Pro and Ultra subscriptions in supported markets.

Google has also enhanced the model's safeguards to address potential misuse involving chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear risks, as well as cyber-related threats.
