Etiqa Insurance Singapore Appoints Claudia Soh as Chief Executive Officer to Lead Next Chapter of Growth

Etiqa Insurance Singapore has appointed Claudia Soh as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective August 14, 2026. In her new role, Claudia will lead the company's growth strategy, enhance partnerships, and prioritize customer-focused innovation. Claudia has been with Etiqa Insurance Singapore for the past six months, serving as Acting CEO and CFO.

Her extensive experience in the financial services and insurance industry, spanning two decades, includes roles in public and private sectors such as the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and senior leadership positions in the insurance industry. During her tenure, Claudia has supported Etiqa's growth agenda and promoted new initiatives, aiming to strengthen the company's capabilities for the future.

She also advocates for transforming the finance function into a strategic business partner. Etiqa Insurance Singapore, a leading composite insurer, will continue to deepen its distribution capabilities and ecosystem partnerships, working closely with Maybank to deliver integrated financial and protection solutions. The company was founded in 1961 and is licensed and regulated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore, offering a wide range of life and general insurance products through various distribution channels.
