Bridgewater to represent New England at Little League World Series

For the first time in Bridgewater Little League's history, the team has qualified for the Little League World Series. They achieved this milestone by defeating a team from Maine on Thursday night. Craig Audette, a member of the Bridgewater Little League Board, expressed his gratitude for the immense support from the community, stating, "Amazing support from the community, something I’m so humble to be a part of." The town's excitement was palpable, with locals driving by the field and watching the team on TV. One young fan, Bryce Audette, shared his feelings, saying, "Feels like an honor for Bridgewater to represent."

The community's enthusiasm reached its peak when the final out was made, officially placing Bridgewater on the path to the Little League World Series. The hometown fans were thrilled by the news, with Aiden O’Brien expressing, "Really happy for them." The Little League World Series is set to begin the following week, and Bridgewater will be representing 'Team New England.'
