Bethlehem Kudumba Unit trailer: Nivin Pauly, Mamitha Baiju promise love, laughter and chaos

The makers of Bethlehem Kudumba Unit have unveiled a trailer for their upcoming Malayalam romantic comedy, introducing audiences to the characters of Nivin Pauly's Justin and Mamitha Baiju's Ashley. Directed by Girish AD, the film is set to release on August 21 as an Onam release. The trailer opens with Justin introducing himself and sharing his story of converting his father's cassette collection to MP3s and posting them online. Justin's comic persona is established when he proudly states his online username, "MP3King."

Justin is shown struggling with his own ambitions in the film industry, attempting to act within a film scene but being interrupted by an irritated director. The trailer then shifts focus to Ashley, played by Mamitha Baiju, whose vibrant personality is revealed through various activities like playing guitar, performing Mohiniyattam, and dancing on the beach. Ashley's potential romantic interest in Justin is hinted at, but he quickly dismisses the idea, insisting that she is "just an innocent girl."

As the characters get closer, they develop a relationship, but Justin insists on keeping it a secret. He and Ashley eventually realize they already know each other, and Justin suggests they act like strangers. The romance turns chaotic, with running and comic situations, and a final moment where Ashley teaches Justin how to form a heart with his fingers, hinting at a possible happy ending despite the misunderstandings.
