Beberapa kawasan di Puncak Alam dilanda banjir kilat

Heavy rain caused flash flooding in several areas of Puncak Alam on Tuesday evening. Video footage showed rising water levels after roughly an hour of intense rainfall, with water reaching around 0.3 meters deep in Jalan Persiaran Puncak Alam 6. Ashrul Riezal Asbar, Deputy Operations Officer of Selangor Fire and Rescue Department, reported that six members of the Bestari Jaya Fire and Rescue Unit were monitoring the flood risk in the area at 3:45 pm.

The monitoring revealed water overflow on the road surface, reaching approximately 0.3 meters (one foot), but no residents were displaced. Social media users shared accounts of the flash flooding in Puncak Alam following the heavy rain. One Threads user, dayangd_na, posted a video of water rising in a residential area after roughly an hour of heavy rain.

"Never had heavy rain persisting for an hour before floods increase," they commented. Another user, _xmmmmmmmm, shared photos of the flooding situation on Jalan Medan Puncak Alam, noting that they had to change their route as several paths in the area were submerged.
