Backlash, support as pastor quits Christianity for Isese practice in Ondo

Olabanjó Felix, once a pastor from Ondo State, has made headlines after renouncing Christianity and embracing Isese, an indigenous Yoruba spiritual practice. In a viral social media video, Felix declared himself a Babalawo, the spiritual leader of Isese. He credited his new mentor, Araba Oluṣẹgun Latunji Aifuwapẹ, and his spiritual sons for guiding him. However, the pastor's announcement has sparked heated debates on social media regarding religious freedom, cultural identity, and the sincerity of public religious figures.

They pointed out his previous claims of preaching Christianity as the ultimate truth, highlighting the apparent inconsistency.
