Motif, Global AI Evaluation 1st?...How Far Can We Trust 'AAII Score'

Motif Technologies, a startup, has ranked first in a global AI performance evaluation, surpassing large companies like LG AI Research and SK Telecom. The startup's AI model, "Motif 3", scored 47 points in the "Intelligence Index" evaluation by Artificial Analysis, beating out other participants in the government's "AI Foundation Model" project.

Despite having a relatively small model size with 3.14 trillion parameters, Motif 3 outperformed larger models, including LG AI Research's "K-EXAONE 2.0" with 7.5 trillion parameters. Industry experts caution that the evaluation results should not be overinterpreted, as the Intelligence Index only measures certain aspects of AI performance.
