Abu Dhabi bans 50-seat worker buses from Mafraq Bridge exit

Abu Dhabi Mobility has introduced a new traffic regulation, prohibiting 50-seat worker transport buses from utilizing a specific Mafraq Bridge exit. This restriction comes into effect on Monday, August 17, impacting buses traveling from the Mafraq Bridge exit E328B to the Abu Dhabi-Al Ain Road. The move is aimed at enhancing traffic flow and ensuring road safety, according to a statement from the Integrated Transport Centre on X. Affected buses will now be directed to use an alternative exit at Truck Bridge, leading to Al Rawdah Street, E30, heading towards Mafraq Workers City.

Abu Dhabi Mobility has urged operators and drivers to adhere to the revised route once the restriction is enforced on August 17. Abu Dhabi Police have also issued warnings to e-scooter riders regarding unsafe practices and distractions.
