U.S. firm opens global engineering centre in Hyderabad

California-based deep-tech and enterprise technology firm Cloudangles has opened its global engineering centre in Hyderabad, with an objective to employ 1,000 engineers over the next two years. The company's expansion in the city is aimed at helping enterprises transition from traditional technology delivery towards dedicated engineering, innovation and technology capabilities.

Hyderabad will serve as a critical hub for Cloudangles' global clients, providing an engineering and technology base for their operations. The facility will also foster long-term co-innovation opportunities, empowering enterprises to develop expertise in areas such as AI, advanced analytics, automation, digital engineering and product development.

Mr. Revathipathi, CEO of Cloudangles, expressed optimism about the strategic importance of Hyderabad in advancing the company's vision. He noted that the city's decision to support the firm's initiatives is a testament to the city's talent and the ecosystem that Cloudangles is building.

The IT and Industries Minister of the region, D. Sridhar Babu, also lauded the establishment of the engineering centre, highlighting its role in strengthening Hyderabad's appeal for global businesses. He emphasized that the company's entry enriches the city's ecosystem with deep-tech capabilities, spanning AI, Cloud, data, software engineering, automation and quantum computing.
