After a year of engagement, American football player Travis Kelce married country music star Taylor Swift on July 3 at New York's Madison Square Garden, according to Kelce himself. The private ceremony, attended by numerous celebrities, was described by Kelce as "the best night of my life" during an interview with the media at the Kansas City Chiefs training camp in Missouri.

The footballer expressed his excitement about getting married in such an iconic venue, calling it "kind of cool" to fulfill his childhood dream. Kelce also thanked the Madison Square Garden owners for hosting a private event in line with their wishes. The only public acknowledgment of the couple's nuptials came from a multitude of celebrity guests, including Hugh Grant, Jason Sudeikis, Benson Boone, and Gigi Hadid, who were spotted arriving at the venue.

Adam Sandler officiated the wedding. Kelce joked about the AC being "cooking" in the arena due to the heatwave experienced across the US during the Independence Day weekend. Despite the secrecy surrounding the event, the large number of celebrities and large screens at Madison Square Garden publicly confirmed the news.
