Tickets on sale from RM200 for F1 race in Sepang

Tickets for the Formula 1 Bahrain Grand Prix are now available at Sepang International Circuit (SIC), marking the circuit's return to host the event after a nine-year break. The three-day race takes place from October 2-4. Fans can purchase a RM200 ticket for access to the G hillstand, an open-air viewing area without allocated seating.

For those willing to pay more, hillstands overlooking different sections of the 5.5km circuit are available, starting at RM809.60 for the B and C hillstands. The B hillstand provides views of fast and sweeping Turns 12 to 14, while the C hillstand offers a mix of slower technical corners and high-speed action on Turns 9 to 11. The F grandstand is priced at RM1,291.40 and overlooks Turns 7 and 8, where drivers navigate closely linked corners.

The K1 grandstand, faced with the opening corners, is priced at RM1,386 and provides a dramatic view, especially during the first lap. The most expensive ticket is RM2,083.40 for seating at the main grandstand, which offers views of the race's start and finish, pit stops, and podium celebrations. Children aged three to six receive a 25% discount, except for the G hillstand, while infants under three can enter for free but will not be allocated a seat.

Non-Malaysians can expect ticket prices starting at US$218.90 (RM895) for the B and C hillstands and up to US$566.05 (RM2,314) for the main grandstand. Malaysia has replaced Bahrain as the host of the Bahrain Grand Prix, following the latter's cancellation due to geopolitical tensions. SIC previously hosted the Malaysian Grand Prix from 1999 to 2017 but opted out due to escalating hosting costs and licensing fees.
