Lawn bowling, also known as bowls, is a unique sport that differs significantly from traditional alley bowling. Rather than knocking down pins, players aim to get their four-pound biased balls close to a small spherical jack. Played on turf, either grass or carpet, the rink is outlined by gutters to mark out-of-play areas. Each team, consisting of singles, doubles, triples, or fours, takes turns rolling their bowls from a designated mat, aiming to be closest to the jack.
