Rosol terima maaf, tak mahu panjang isu gambar edit

Rosol Wahid, a member of Parliament for Hulu Terengganu, has accepted an apology from Nur Mushawwir Hrsikesa Thaitchana Muruthi, a former PKR Pulau Pinang youth leader, regarding the distribution of a tampered image on social media. Rosol stated that he has no desire to continue legal action after Mushawir removed the image and made a public apology.

He sent a letter of demand (LOD) to Mushawir that night, but it is unclear if it was received before the apology was made. "Actually, I am not very concerned about that (the tampered image) because in politics, things are normal. All we need is to advise each other to send an LOD. We sent the LOD last night, and then he removed the image and made the apology.

Considering he has made the apology and removed the image, I have no desire to prolong the issue," Rosol told FMT. However, Rosol advised Mushawir and political leaders from any party to take note of the incident and be more cautious in their actions. He emphasized that political differences should not lead someone to act too extreme, as political relationships can change at any time.

"In politics, there is no permanent enemy, no permanent friend. We need to adapt in our actions. Today, we may be political opponents, tomorrow, we may become friends. Don't be too extreme in any action you take," he said. On the previous day, Rosol had demanded an apology from Mushawir after he uploaded and spread a tampered image in the Dewan Rakyat featuring a wedding photo with a veiled bride.

Mushawir, who previously worked as a deputy assistant at the Seberang Perai City Council Lands Department, also made a public apology to Rosol and removed the image.
