Rob Zombie’s Firefly Horror Movie Trilogy Gets an Ultimate 4K Collection

Rob Zombie's Firefly horror movie trilogy, consisting of House of 1000 Corpses, The Devil's Rejects, and 3 From Hell, is set to be released in a stunning 4K collection. This collection includes all three movies in 4K, Blu-ray, and digital formats, as well as compatibility with Movies Anywhere. Fans can preorder the collection for $79.99, which is set to release on October 13.

The set comes with 8 discs, featuring House of 1000 Corpses in 4K for the first time. Additionally, collectors will receive various collectibles such as art cards, a poster, and a photography book curated by Rob Zombie himself. The art was created by Vance Kelly, known for his impressive work.

The trilogy consists of four movies, with 3 From Hell being the final installment released in 2019. The movies within the series may have an acquired taste, as House of 1000 Corpses revolves around a group of teenagers kidnapped and tortured by a family of grotesque psychopaths. Despite mixed reviews, such as a harsh 1/5 rating from IGN, the movies may be enjoyed if one approaches them with the right mindset, as the tone is dark, grimy, and full of frightening scenes.

The director, Rob Zombie, drew inspiration from 1970s shock horror films, aiming to pay homage to that era. Other horror movie releases this spooky season include a 5-film 80s horror movie Steelbook collection and a 20th-anniversary collection for the Hostel series.
