Revolut bets on airport lounges as some premium WeWork perks cut

Revolut is adjusting some premium perks offered by WeWork, amid the rollout of its first airport lounge. The fintech giant is expanding its physical presence with airport lounges, particularly in key markets. The announcement of its inaugural lounge in Copenhagen comes as rumors have surfaced that some premium Revolut members may lose access to certain WeWork locations.

A Revolut spokesperson clarified that some locations, such as those in Dublin, will remain accessible to premium members like 'Metal' and 'Ultra' users. However, over 265 other locations may see altered availability due to WeWork's pricing changes and Revolut's unwillingness to absorb the additional costs. Despite this, Revolut remains committed to providing premium workspace solutions and other global lifestyle benefits to its members.

The company plans to roll out a network of premium lounges across priority markets in the coming years, aiming to become one of the largest premium lounge networks globally. Revolut recently secured a French banking license, further strengthening its bid to become a truly global bank.
