Raptors to open season at home against Chicago

The Toronto Raptors have announced they will commence the upcoming NBA season at Scotiabank Arena on October 21st, marking the 14th consecutive home opener in the past 15 years. The NBA released its complete 2026-27 schedule on Thursday, revealing the Raptors' first away game is set for two days later against Washington on October 23rd.

Key home fixtures include back-to-back matches against the reigning NBA champions New York Knicks on November 15th and 17th. The Raptors will also host Victor Wembanyama's San Antonio Spurs on December 10th and Canadian star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the Oklahoma City Thunder on March 10th.

January is the Raptors' busiest month, with 17 games, including a six-game home stand. They will participate in 15 back-to-back games throughout the season, seven of which do not require travel. Eighty of Toronto's 82 games have been confirmed, with two scheduled after the NBA Cup tournament's group play. Toronto has once again been omitted from the league's marquee Christmas Day schedule, having not played on Dec. 25 since 2019, when they were defending NBA champions.
