Raiders React to Maxx Crosby's Ranking Among NFL Top 100 Players

Ahead of the 2026 NFL season, the league unveiled its annual list of the top 100 players, and Las Vegas Raiders star Maxx Crosby secured a spot in the top 25. The defensive end, who has been with the Raiders since their inception, was ranked No. 24. Crosby achieved this ranking following an impressive season, during which he recorded 73 tackles, with 45 of them being solo tackles. He also added 10 sacks and one interception to his statistics.

Upon the announcement, the Raiders shared the news on their social media along with a message highlighting Crosby's defensive prowess. "Unmatched. Undisputed. Undeniable. Maxx Crosby is the No. 24 player on the NFL's 2026 edition of Top 100 Players," the Raiders wrote.

Crosby, standing at 6-foot-5 and weighing 255 pounds, is a five-time Pro Bowler. He is expected to continue his strong performance for the Raiders' defense in the upcoming season. The Raiders have been holding practices in anticipation of the preseason games and the regular NFL season.

Earlier this month, Crosby was involved in a heated altercation with new teammate and veteran quarterback Kirk Cousins. The dispute ignited due to Crosby's aggressive play on offense, which may have disturbed Cousins. However, it seems that the situation has been resolved, and the two players are now cooperating on the field.

The Raiders' preseason schedule includes their first game against the Arizona Cardinals on Thursday at 8 p.m. ET. In the following weeks, the team will face the Houston Texans and San Francisco 49ers. The regular season will commence on Sunday, September 13, with the Raiders taking on the Miami Dolphins.
