PDP chieftain, Ehilebo queries Tinubu over state of healthcare in Nigeria

A senior member of the PDP, Anthony Ehilebo, has expressed concern over the deteriorating state of healthcare in Nigeria since President Bola Tinubu came into office in 2023. Ehilebo challenged Tinubu to disclose the number of hospitals his administration has constructed during that period. He made his remarks in response to a video posted on social media about the Enugu International Hospital in Enugu State, which boasts a 300-bed capacity and meets international standards.

Ehilebo pointed out that some users on the platform X have questioned how many hospitals the Tinubu-led administration has built. He noted that in a functioning democracy, the law should apply equally to all, regardless of political affiliation. He criticized the perceived immunity from criticism based on political connections, stating that justice should not be selective.

The PDP chieftain urged citizens to demand accountability from their leaders, asserting that a robust democracy thrives when the law protects everyone equally, not just the powerful.
